Pete Skipworth - Lincolnshire Wolds walking guide

Peter has been walking in the Lincolnshire Wolds for many years. He says that he finds the stunning landscapes, the isolated villages and the slow pace of life ideal. He finds something new on every walk.

Peter can trace his ancestry back to 1541, and his ancestors have live and worked in the Wolds since that time. He can tell you about facts that aren’t recorded – which he has observed whilst on his walks which will make your day out more fascinating. He will familiarise you with the prominent people and characters who have visited the Wolds.

Peter will also show you the churches and stunning views as well as point out geographical features and tell you about the civilisations that have inhabited the area since Neolithic times. He will take you on more than a walk ...you will learn a lot about this beautiful area. It will be an experience.

He suggests that when you come on walks you use suitable footwear and bring clothing for inclement weather. The walks are about 7 miles.

Pete Skipworth is a Professional Artist who lives locally, and can also provide art tuition that can be combined with guided walks and accommodation at the Paddock at Scamblesby.
