Art Tuition with Pete Skipworth
Peter lives in the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where he finds the stunning views and tranquil
peace an inspiration for his drawings and paintings.
He has studied with the Open University where he gained a Bachelor of Arts degree. He has also studied at Lincoln
University gaining a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Illustration, and a diploma in Art & Design. He has teaching
qualifications.
His speciality is drawing – particularly in pen and ink where he enjoys the challenge of detail, tone and
perspective. He is also experienced in the use of watercolour and oils.
Peter has been commissioned to produce several oil colour and pen & ink drawings. His biggest commission was for
two large village signs where he used sign writers paint.
He has produced a series of prints, postcards, greeting cards and notelets depicting the beauty of the Lincolnshire
Wolds. His images have been used on the Lincolnshire Poacher magazine and he has had several successful exhibitions.
Peter lectures to art groups, and is offering courses and art days out in the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Peter can also offer expert guided walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds which can be combined with Art tuition and accommodation
at the Paddock at Scamblesby.
